Try getting the air in the brakes bled, if that doesnt work check the master cylinder,or when you drive see if when u put on the brakes see if you let go of the sterring wheel and brake to see what side it pulls to,

SOURCE: brake and ABS warning lights on, trac off on.

You may have a bad abs controller. You need to get the code for the abs light from a shop or auto parts store.

The red brake light is the key here. That usually indicateds a hydraulic problem. Check you fluid level in master cylinder and see if it is low. Also the level indicator sensor there in the master cylinder maybe sticking or corrioded. If ABS sees the red brake light it will shut off and turn on the ABS light, also traction control would be disabled as well.

I WOULD NOT KEEP DRIVING IT.WHEN ABS LIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON.YOU HAVE BRAKE FAILURE. TOW IT TO DEALERSHIP HAVE IT SERVICE.AND CHECK THE ABS BRAKES SYSTEM .BECAUSE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM IS NOT A HOME FIX.BECAUSE THE ABS HYDRAULIC MODULATOR UNIT HAS LOWER FROM HOME POSITION .IN ORDER TO MOVE THE MASTER CYLINDER FROM UNIT.YOU NEED A TECH 2 SCANNER TO DO THE JOB.TO GET ABS BRAKES TO BLEED RIGHT BEST TO GET THEM PRESSURE BLEED INSTEAD OF MANUAL BLEEDING GET LESS AIR IN SYSTEM.THAT WHY SEE DEALER SHIP HAS THE THINGS TO DO THE JOB.

Can't shift out of park, no brake lights

This is a problem with the brake sensor lockout. Most likely it is out of place or broken and shorting. It is on the brake pedal lever.

Brake pedal has alot of back pressure and car moves in gear.Have to press real hard to stop. How to check abs pump if has one where or brake booster or master cylinder?Don't know how to trouble shoot or...

The air seeping is a dead giveaway. Your power brakes are now manual brakes, but stiffer. The diaphram in the brake booster has torn and the hissing noise is the engine vacuum escaping (you hear it louder when you depress the pedal right?). Replace the booster and you will be fine. The brake lights probably don't work because you can't push the pedal down far enought to release the switch. Please rate. Thanks.

Abs light flash on and gives me a warning 'check break system and sometimes causes car to die

The ABS system is an Automatic brake system control! There could be a bad ABS sensor at one of the wheels, or a broken wire to the sensor! The system is computer operated, to sense when the brake pedal is depressed, and causes the brakes to surge, rather than lock up! It is a good idea to have an ASE mechanic check this out! When there is a problem with the brake system, it can cause the car to die when the pedal is depressed to hard or fast!
