Tail lights and dash lights dont work on my 99 ford f350

If the 15amp fuse marked number 4 has power, you should have power into the headlight switch and then out to the lights.

Dash lights don't work 1992 jeep wrangler

try turning the headlight knob left to right several times, and jiggle the switch at night. Also check your fuse panel should be a 10 amp or less fuse that says "Insr" or something like it.

Relay switch for tail lights we have brake lights, signal lights, head lights but no tail lights or dash lights. could it be the relay switch?

hi think its more like a blown fuse tail lights dont normanly have relays as they dont draw a lot of wattage.dash lights are on the same fuse system as tail lights its a way of warning the driver that theirs aproblem

Tail, dash, and license lights will not turn on with head lights

the plate and tail lights are on the same fuse you can check that fuse and the dash light fuse with a test light,
but i'm pretty sure your head light switch is the problem,

Hi its rob here what make and model of car is it? it sounds like the light switch is faulty but that wouldnt stop the brake lights workin try two stop and tail light bulbs then if you have stop lights your switch is at fault

From what you just said i dont belive the mechanic checked your fuses correctly.

Check your self to confirm, But if no avial i belive the controller for your lighting may be fried.

WHAT YOU MIGHT CHECK IS THE FUSE FOR TAILLIGHTS, OR DASH LIGHTS. THEY WORK OFF THE SAME FUSE. IF THE FUSE IS BLOWN THE HEADLIGHTS WORK BUT NO TAIL OR DASH LIGHTS

did you also check the fuses under the hood, there is a 20 amp out there that feeds that circuit.

The P0420 that you are getting may be an inoperative air/fuel sensor (the actual code is "catalyst system efficiency below threshold". This code will not affect the head/tail lamps or dash lights.
You may have a bad headlamp switch.

I got a 1998 ford taurus and my emergency light were not working since many days.i shown a mechanic for that problem , and he checked for that , and now the problem is side lights are not working.it was working well before , and now my mechanic says that turn light switch has to be replaced. and its quite expensive. any one have any comments to fix this or any other alternative ?....plz let me know.

Yes it is the headlight switch, the connectors get burnt.
