What can i use to seal the back stiching of my convertible top that wont ruin it

if want to remove metal supports too remove back seat moldings unbolt railings
if just the soft top you want to remove same thing but unbutton from the rails at back under trunk

check the alignment of the boot lock

first the converter have to be in the transmision be sure all the way hold it on place use a tin piece of wire lift the trani close to engine yo be more easy use long bolts no head on the top of the engine long enoug to remove them after you put the other two dont tight them until youare sure the converter turn freely remove the wire holdind the converter

Where is the oil actually leaking from? If it is from the bottom of bell housing the leak is from the oil seal on the shaft at the back of the torque converter. This is transmission out job to get at it. It is best to have this fixed as the low fluids that will result from the leak will result in poor torque converter performance and then to worn gear clutches ruining the whole transmission. As an interim measure it is possible to top up the autobox when it gets low by adding the right (really important that it is right) fluid via the transmission dipstick tube (NOT the engine oil dipstick tube).

check to see if the convertible top contacts at the locks on the top of the windsheild are stuck or damaged if they are this will not let the windows function properly.

You will need to purchase the Hardware kit also. The softtop does not come with it. It runs around $150. That is if you dont have one already. With this installed the softtop will be easy to put on

hello,seems you have a stuck- up or need adjustment of micro switch, only dealer have a tester to determine the condition of switch,ty

I'd check at switch itself first. If you can get a test light on wires at back of switch, you will get power at one, when switched one way, and should have power at another when switch other way.

You can try an auto body shop. They know the secrets. good luck.
