Engine turns over, but why won't it start?

This is a fuel problem. Make sure the emergency fuel shut off is not engaged. From there check the fuel pump, fuel relay and the fuel filter. Lastly check fuel pressure.

I change head geskit and lose engine timing. How to get engine timing on Nissan Tino 1999 model

Chances are you didn't install one of the camshaft gears or it jumped one or more teeth on the belt when you re-assembled it. To check how far out you are remove plug number one, disable the start, i.e. remove coil lead or fuel pump relay. Bring number one to TDC, then look at distributor to see where rotor is pointing compare to where it should be. If its not there your timing is off. remove the belt and reset it properly.

Faults

Try to replace your fuel pump relay. If that doesn\'t work, replace the spark plugs. If that doesn\'t work, replace your high tension leads with boogie cords.
