My car is due for a service and is booked in for next week, and has the yellow symbol with the spanner in the middle, but it also has code 79 displaying on the dash?
I done magior service but still code 79 on the display with spinner car sign really frustrd from this car...

I replaced timing belts, radiator, oil pumps and water pumps plus i also replaced all the old sensors with anew one.
Car driving perfectly but the error code 79 with the spanner sign will come and disappear and after a it comes back again.
Please what could be causing the problem

I have get the service done and even the guy reset it from tablet device even after the alarm is coming. any idea why?

SOURCE: 6000 miles before service due,but spanner is flashing?
Check your owners manual and under maintenance....look for reset precedures, its should be there as each manufacturer has different steps to be used.

it means its due for service. If u wanna get rid of it without servicing the vehicle then as you start the car simultaneously push the ODOMETER reset button on the dash and it will wipe it. This will however just delay the point your car needs servicing.
