SOURCE: Acura MDX Navigation system is

its really easey to remove the dvd unit under the pasenger seat. just put the seat all the way forward and pull the plastic guard from the seat track (pull straight back) then unplug the harness connectors in the back of the unit.
Then put the seat all the way back and remove the 1o mm nuts on the side brackets of the unit and pull it forward.

SOURCE: Need to reset the code my Acura MDX navigation

check the side of the glove box. my TL has it on the outside side panel as you look from the driver side. my honda prelude had the code there as well. hope this helps

How do i keep the navigatio system talking without pressing the voice botton on my mdx 2005?

Hopefully someone will have an answer for you on this. I do not use navigation systems so I have no information on them. You may want to put a Make and Model of teh navigation system you are using in the post somewhere as that will assist another expert in giving you an answer.

Our center console screen says "navigation door open, close unit door or install dvd." I cannot find a reference to this in the owner's manual and the navigation is not working.

is the door open??? if so, we need to know if it is or not. I know on a Honda Odyssey, its under passenger seat.

Navigation system is locked up after battery replacement

Found the SN and CODE on the white label attached to the side of the glovebox. SN begins with a "B" followed by 8 numbers. The 4 digit code can be entered into the navigation system to unlock & reset the unit after a power disconnect.

2004 Acrura MDX navigation system goes blank after disclosure.

I had the same problem and carefully cleaning the map DVD solved it. After years of use, a film gets built up on it. It is under the front passenger seat.
