Also, a loud squealing started after this and a mechanic unplugged my ac compressor but the squealing still happened after he did that. He changed the power steering belt, the alternator belt and the ac belt and then I went back 3 more times because it kept squealing, all but one time not as bad. The mechanic adjusted the belts and said it was the new belts loose after warming up so he tightened them over and over again?! One mechanic is telling me I need to replace my ac compressor? Another mechanic doesn't think its the ac compressor but isn't sure what it is causing the air and heat not to blow hot and cold unless moving and what the squealing is?
So many mechanics, so little consensus. Sounds pretty common.
I can't say as to why hot and cold only when moving, but it sounds like a weak performing system.
As for the squealing, I would suggest removing one belt at a time, and see if one eliminates the squeal. That would be the problem belt or pulley or component. Also, if you have any idler pulleys (a stand-alone pulley) on the belt system, be sure and check them as well. Spin them without the belt on, and see if they make any noise.
It would seem you need a mechanic who is willing to spend some time with you on this to find the problem. When you find a good one, you will know it by his output, and make yourself a regular customer. Good luck.

The belt is almost assuredly to tight and needs to be loosened just a hair. It is hard sometimes to get the tension just right. Try looseneing it a bit and hopefully that will help. I have had the same problem in the past.

have you pulled the top timing belt cover off to inspect
SOURCE: i just had my belts
check the tension. cheap belts will stretch. if after you retension them (especially the alternator belt) you may need to replace them with BANDO or OEM belts.
