Question about Cars & Trucks
Know this problem was posted several years ago, but having same issue with my 2008 Nissan Rogue. We've tried everything short of having the battery replaced, (including charging it), and nada. So, tomorrow morning, that'll be our next move. Sucks, but best thing to die. Much rather than than an alternator, starter or solenoid.

I kind of wonder about those security gadgets but there is a starter lockout in the gearshift assembly. The neutral start switch and keyswitch are linked by a rod in the steering column. If the solenoid clicks it is suppose to mean everything is lined up. Then it would mean a BAD solenoid is not connecting the starter after the click.
But the neutral start has other terminals that are moved internally. If you do not get it fixed this trip and it does this again, try starting in neutral instead of P. Good Luck

CHECK THE BATTERY FIRST TO SEE IF YOU HAVE POWER

2008 Nissan Rogue, is all you need.
Go to auto parts store.
I prefer raybestos ceramic, their dust free for the most part, and work well on my heavy Lincoln LS
Have the rotors turned.

Have your battery checked. That started to happen to me and mine went out.
