SOURCE: I need to disarm my

http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/ Go to that link. You are exactly right. The engine swap has confused the anti theft security system. It can disable the starter and/or the injectors/fuel. There are ways to bypass these systems. You can do it yourself too. Ive personally done dozens of these bypasses, and they work great. Good luck

SOURCE: replaced ignition switch in 1999

You have to do a relearn procedure on the anti-theft system:

Attempt to start the vehicle. Leave the ignition on until the THEFT SYSTEM indicator turns off (about 10 minutes). Turn the ignition switch off. Leave the ignition switch off with key in for about 10 minutes. Attempt to start vehicle.

97 chevy suburban AC clutch won't engage pressures

Looks like the low pressure switch gets power from a 10amp ac fuse. Power then goes to the ac relay which is powered on by the ac heat controller on the dash. Power then goes thru the high pressure switch to the compressor. The ac relay is grounded to the body. Do you have power on the lite and dark green wires going into the relay and is it grounded ?

The ac and the blower work but the heater won't work in my 95 chevy suburban

Hi Tim, I believe the problem will be either the electronic control module or a fouled operating mixing valve. Try operating the mixing valve directly from inside the engine compartment first and check if that makes a difference. If that fails, get a diagnostic scan carried out on the climate control. sound like problem in the theft security systm, try this insert another key in the ignition switch, the other key could be worn where pcm and bcm dont recognize it. and switch ignition on engine off watch padlock symbol with ignition switch left on 10 minutes the padlock symbol will extinguish or turn off then you will turn off ignition switch wait 5 seconds then try starting vechicle if start your theft security failing need let dealership check it out.

Why won't my chevy van stay started ?

One thing to check into would be the antitheft system. Not knowing what year or type of vehicle makes it hard to help. But like i said, engine shut down in 5 seconds or less is a symptom of a bad antitheft security system. This link explains.

Do you see a light on the dash that says SECURITY or ANTITHEFT? Disconnecting your battery can trigger your antitheft system.

Here is a link about the security.
