have some one apply pressure on the inside of the door while you press the release handle. May be even a good bump will help as you have jammed the door lock in the latch
Below the glove box near the center console is a black plastic box that contains the filter. Slide the door toward rear of vehicle and then swing door down to get to the filter. You can see the filter after opening the door.
I just had mine fixed at the dealer for the same problem. Their first response to me was "this happens ALL THE TIME". He said there is a little plastic pin in the door handle assembly and the pin has been known to slip out of the assembly. However, when they got inside, they said it was the actual door handle (inside) that was broken and had to replace the whole piece. So, the first step according to my dealer/servicer would be to check for the little plastic pin.
oh we have a 02 C T & C and our keyless entry for the sliding doors. when the side doors are not closed all the way or opened all the way the keyless entry won't kick in. try doing it closed or fully open, if this does not work try checking the battery in the remote. over all lets put it this way the 02 C T & C is like the best mini van around however it comes with alot of problems from ac. to tail lights
