My alternator is good, battery is good and new pulley tentsioner. batt. dies from driving. had a draw tes done and came back nothing drawing current that wasnt supposed to be. anything else it can be? alternator came back good amps. cant figure it out, even changed all old fuses that had direct electrical control with the car.

If you have a aftermarket radio system I would double check that first,
If not I would check the wire harnesses in the engine compartment,
When you're on the gas the engine tweaks and puts stress on some of the harnesses, if there is a short in the wire harness it will drop the voltage, this will confuse the alternator's voltage regulator and cause it to kick on and off.

First thing I would check is to see if you have power at the trigger wire of the starter motor while someone is trying to start the vehicle for you. It will be a Yellow with a light blue trace. If you do then I would check to see if the main battery cable has power to it all the time when someone is trying to crank it. If it does then I would hold a test light on the case of the starter motor and have someone try to crank it. Make sure that the ground you use for this test is on the negative battery terminal not just anywhere on the car. If the test light lights while you are cranking it then you have a bad ground. Hook up a set of jumper cables from the battery negative terminal and clamp it directly on to your starter motor and see if it starts. If you check it and the test light doesn't light up and all the other checks are good then your starter motor has failed. If one of the other tests has failed then you have a starter relay problem or something else. let me know what you find out.

you will need to do a test with a battery light disconnect the negative wire on the battery and connect one end of the test light to the battery and the other to the terminal with everything switched off if the test light is lit you have a draw if it is not lit then it is something else sometimes door switches and glove box switches wear out and need added lift to properly shut the open circuit down

This happened to my wife's Ford Escape and it ended up being the alternator. We had to replace it and it cost around $700-800.
