Just recently i had a new battery, new hoses and oil change. i had whirring noises but now they are getting louder. is it possible that that problem is not in the transmission
My old Dodge Spirit did that ALL the time, and it was usually a belt somewhere. Have your mechanic check the belts...I bet one of them just likes to whistle while he works. <:o)

no, the oil pressure sender merely screws into a port over an oil passage. to replace you just undo the connection, unscrew the old one, screw in new one, and re connect
sounds like you are going to need a new oil pump. if the screen gets cloged on the pump it cant produce enough pressure in idle. i would try to drive it as less as possible
The humming noise and the battery light being on is probably due to a worn out alternator. You can get the alternator checked for free at most Advance or Auto Zone parts Stores.
YES THE CV AXLES DO MAKE A SIMILAR NOISE WHEN GOING BAD BECAUSE THE CAGE THAT THE BALL-BEARINGS ARE IN VIBRATE AS THEY ROTATE. A CLICKING SOUND AROUND TURNS ARE ANOTHER INDICATION OF BAD CV AXLES.HOPE THIS SOLVES THE PROBLEM. KEEP ME POSTED PLEASE. GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR YOUR HONEST RATING. THANK YOU NALSO FOR USING FIX-YA. WITING FOR YOUR REPLY.
It is probably being caused by one of the vent doors (in the AC/heat system) sticking and not moving into the air conditioner mode. For a temporary fix, just keep changing the controls from heat to AC and sooner or later it will probable work. For a permanent fix you need to use 3 in 1 oil and try to oil the doors in the system.
The heat exchanger in the rad header on the bottom is shot. You need a new rad, flush the coolant, change the tranny oil and filter, clean out the resevoir.
