2001 silverado 4x4 front wheel noise, loud at speed an no vibration through steering wheel? Posable wheel bearing or cv shaft??? How big is the hub nut?? An has anybody exp this problem them selfs An the left wheel bearing has been replaced already, sound seems to be amiting from right front??

Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.

You must replace wheel bearings in pairs to avoid loading the old bearing and, in time ruining your new bearing hub it is possible that you have already damaged the new hub

Intermediate shaft is the most likely cause for this and your right there have been issues.
