Taillights not working on hilux

I have a 2000 model Hilux and just noticed my taillights are not working. Both the light bulbs are fine and have not blown, also the fuse is fine. I can not work out what is wrong with it, is there a relay or something for taillights on this model hilux?

Try the pressure switch on the brake pedal itself sometimes they get stuck in if so wd40 it or at times the wires come off or the switch itself needs replacing you can test if the switch is faulty by touching the two wires together the lights will come on if they dont its not the switch

1998 Nissan maxima GLE taillights fuse keep blowing! bulbs are good when checking wires by light bulbs I noticed that the backup lights where hooked to the taillights is this normal!?

no
reverse lights get power from a reversing switch and hove a separate circuit
check for correct bulbs in the holders as a duel contact bulb in a single point contact holder will short and blow fuses

2004 Trailblazer lower taillights not working upper work fine.

Tony, our TB's only have 3 bulbs, 1 brake, 1 running, 1 backup.
If you happened to be playing with NEW LED bulbs (from local retail location) for the brakes, guaranteed you blew the fuse under the rear seat. It takes a special CK socket for the brakes that no one carry's. If you're only dealing with normal incondecent bulbs, I'd still check the fuse under the rear passenger seat.

Taillights only turn on with the headlights, but don't turn on for braking or signals. I've checked all the fuse and relays and they are fine. Any Suggestions?

Those lights are called running lights. Have you tried new bulbs or test the wires coming into the socket for power.

Some fords have fuses for taillights, check there too.

No inst. panel,parking,taillights

I would check the ground wire for the parking light circuit, especially around and in the light socket where you replaced the bulb.

My dash taillights dont work on my 1997 nissan

Turn on the hazard switch to check if the bulbs light up. If they do, the problem is probably with the headlight switch itself.

Hi beams, low beams, taillights, and dash lights stopped working.

Might want to check the fuses if you haven't already.

Dash and running lights does not work, everything

The fuse to the taillights/running lights?
It can't be a grounding problem if both taillights and dash don't work.
If only taillights don't work, it would be suspicious grounding.
