Its a crank sensor code.

If you have a 4.0 liter replace the crank sensor adn you should be good to go. It is possible that you may also need to replace the distributor sensor but I wouldn't worry about it unless the code comes back after replace the crank sensor which is more common to fail.

if you have the 4.7 Liter replace both the crank and the cam sensor. You just have to trust me on this one.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6. Getting a P0320 after installing a timing chain with no start.

Question edited for clarity.

The timing is messed up. Normally it has to be TDC on the Compression Stroke of Cylinder 1. It is a FOUR stroke engine so there are 4 lots of TDC. Or you lock everything using a timing kit, which locks the crank and the cam sprockets..

A P0320 code indicates an issue with the signal that indicates the speed of the engine. This means that the ECM (engine control module) doesn't know where the crankshaft or camshaft is, so it isn't able to distribute fuel or fire spark plugs at the right time.

My 2003 jeep liberty sport has a code p0320 how to fix this

What the P0320 code means. When the P0320 diagnostic trouble code is stored by the Engine Control Module (ECM), it is an indication that there is a malfunction in the ignition/distributor engine speed input circuit.

All vehicles sold in North America use OBD 2 codes, port location is the same on all vehicles. Whomever ran diagnostics and gave you code should have told the meaning unless they don't know what they are doing.

2000 Dodge Intrepid, error codes P1684 and P0320. starter turns over, motor turns but does not fire

The first code is nothing major to worry about. It's just a general warning that some electronics may flag up as a fault as they had no power supply.
The second code needs looking at as the vehicle's ECU, (it's brain), is getting confused signals from the engine sensors. As a result it's staying in a Safe Mode. A good auto electrician should be able to sort out both problems.
The codes translate too...
P1684 = The battery has been disconnected within the last 50 starts.
P0320 = Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor/engine speed (RPM) sensor - circuit malfunction

WHAT ARE CODES PO330 AND PO320 CTS 2006 CADILAC

I use this website all the time:
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0320
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0330
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0420
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0430

Now the art is knowing how to interpret, the P0320 and P0330 can set off your P0420 and P0430 oxygen sensor codes. I would address the P0320 and P0330 first and probably the O2 sensor stuff will probably go away. If your car is knocking, rough idle, loses power, etc. then the 300 codes make sense and you have issues. It could also be two separate issues were damaged wiring on the knock sensors and then a damaged catalytic converter. I've got a car that constantly throws up 420 and 430 codes because the catalytic converter got dinged up from running something other.

I have a 2004 Jeep grand cherokee 6.0 4WD and a code P0320 came on what is that. My car will turn on then after a while if will turn OFF please help ......

p0320 is-- ignition/dist, engine speed input curcuit malfunction. Check the two hoses on either side of the engine that go to the intake. Any kinks or cracks will give crank error. I beleive you have a bad crank sensor. not sending signal to pcm. crank sensor symtoms-- No RPM Signal to PCM . also check wires to crank sensor.
