SOURCE: where are the spark plugs located on a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis

There are eight COPs (coil-on-plugs) to remove. Using a 7mm or 9/32" socket, remove each bolt securing each COP to the intake manifold on top of the engine. Remove all eight COPs, and the spark plugs are underneath. When replacing the spark plugs, use only the proper Ford/Motorcraft plugs, even if they cost twice as much as the aftermarket ones. You will avoid further headaches this way. Hope this helps.

2000 Mercury Grand Marquis cranks, but won't start and while cranking the theft light on flashing fast.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

That is a lot of items changed for nothing. The flashing anti-theft light was telling you the answer.

Key
  1. Insert the key into the driver's side door lock.
  2. Turn the key once, but not all the way to unlock the door. Leave the key in this position for 40-60 seconds. ...
  3. Do this again, but turn the key in the opposite direction.
  4. Remove the key from the door, get into your Ford, and start the engine. The system should be reset.

2002 mercury grand marquis missing and hesitating

Since it could be several different things in the ignition system, as well as fuel and other things, you may have to get professional help.
Some things you did not mention are the coil, cam and crank sensors, and the computer.
I assume the check engine light is on and the only code you have is a random miss. There are a lot of things to rule out.

Stalling 2002 mercury grand marquis

Most parts retailers can tell you what the pressure should be from the pump or what pressure the pump is rated to put out. If pressure is low from the fuel pump- replace it.

Why does my 1993 mercury grand marquis backfire and cut out when I accelerate?

Try changing the fuel filter. Sounds like fuel restriction or exhaust restriction. It's also possible the timing chain could be loose especially if an high mileage engine. Fuel filter first & go from there. Good luck!

My sister parked here 99 Grand Marquis 18 months ago because it needed an alternator and an intake. Now can afford to repair, once trying to jump start. We noticed it is not getting fuel. There is gas in...

There is possibility that the fuel has gone bad and has become gummy(fuel doesn't last like it used to)...this may have gummed up the fuel pump and sort of locked it up...you may need to replace the fuel pump...which is inside the fuel tank...one good way to test if this is problem is to remove the fuel filter and then turn on the key and try cranking to see if any fuel comes out..if it does then you may need to replace the fuel filter..if not, then the fuel pump

My 1996 mercury grand marquis starts and runs good, good power, has 200,000 miles on it. When I fill it up and drive it, it dies and starts right back up. I think it is the fuel pump. I have not checked...

You might have a bad gas cap. I would also change the fuel filter, I did a fuel filter on the same type of vehicle and the gas coming out of it looked like black ink, it was so dirty.
