1. You need to retrieve any engine faulty code with a scanner.
2. It could be many things but let's start with
3. Look engine data if coolant temperature sensor is normal at room temperature.
4. Review engine data for TPS sensor by applying the gas pedal slowly and at the same time look for normal change if not cut wires at the TPS sensor could be an open circuit or short to ground.
when the engine warms up.
5. One more thing for now MAF sensor or MAP sensor that said the load on the engine and the amount of air going through MAF sensor. (clean inside the thermal element it will be more accurate.
And the air temperature sensor could be at fault.

Hope it helps.

SOURCE: 97 grand prix gtp starts then immediatly dies

If you have a GTP these engines use a hi output fuel pump. they use a fuel pump resistor located under the battery tray (look up from under the car) This resistor lowers the voltage to the fuel fump when not in boost mode. because of its locatoin it is prone to corrosion. if you bypass the wires and the engine starts and stays running replace the resistor

SOURCE: 93 firebird formula wont start

A hall effect sensor senses a magnetic cylinder inside of a piston and sends an electronic signal to a processor. These are widely used in food/product packaging. I have a '93 formula myself and am unaware of any of these sensors on the car/engine.
Only thing I can think of is my firebird went through about 3 distributors in five years. So far the one in there now is running well. But you'll experience hard starts and stalls if this is tanking on ya.

1998 3800 v6 firebird... wont run right after starting

Possibly a weak fuel pump, idle air control valve, vacuum leaks, or loose or damaged wiring in the ignition system. Check for vacuum leaks first. That's the only one that won't cost anything. Make sure all intake bolts are tight, and all hoses are connected properly and in good condition.
