'88 chevy truck, no spray from injectors

New fuel pump installed earlier. still runs great. plenty of gas up to the throttle body (disconnected the fuel line to see). installed new ignition module, new throttle positioning sensor, and swapped out the ECM from another truck that fires up. getting no voltage to the injectors(what voltage should be present anyway?) the truck died out on me on the road, I first thought that I ran out of gas. had to have it towed home. help!!

I am having the same problem on a 91 chevrolet truck. It just quit. Replaced the fuel pump. Still does not start. Poured a little gas down the throttle body and it tries to start. The injectors do not spray. With the key on I check for power at each injector and had power with my test light on one of the wires. The injectors showed 1.8 ohms each so they should be good. I know the ECM controls the injectors but what else could be wrong?

I have a simular problem but I shorted out my CRNK fuse while hooking up a horn to that fuse, it gave a big spark and melt the fuse and power never come back there. after I could not start any more i check and the injector did not spray any more. I poured some gas in the throttle body it tries to start but it wont stay long. I spent $80 on a secnod hand ECM which they say come out of a crash car it should be good but I still did not get started. ad like to know how can I get power back to that CRNK fuse?

Not sure on that model what controls the injector pulse, but most vehicles either use the signal from the crankshaft position sensor or a cam position sensor. You should use a LED testlight, (NOT A BULB TESTLIGHT!!) and backprobe the injector terminals (with the other lead of the testlight to ground) while cranking the engine over. If the light flashes on one of the terminals, then you are getting injector pulse, and the fault lies elsewhere. If not, then you will need to replace whatver sensor is used to provide engine position signal on that model. Also, check the wiring to that sensor. Some vehicles have problems with the crankshaft pulley harmonic balancer failing and damaging either the body of the crank position sensor or its wiring.

I have an 1987 Chevy with throttle body fuel enjection I have a new fuel pump and new fuel filter I have fuel coming up at the throttle body when I crack the lines but the injectors arnt spraying fuel

I suggest changing the pickup in the distributor. This is what fires the injectors. If you have a noid light you can check for pulse at the injector, but my guess is there is nothing signaling the injector to fire.

89 suburban. No spray from injectors after replacing ESC

The fuel pump should be in the 20s. Also it could be losing presure slowly. Leave the fuel pump pressure gage on for at least 2 to 3 hours to see if it is losing pressure - It's a start

90 chevy 350 with TBI starts but wont stay running changed fuel filter and fuel regulator dont know what next

I have a 90 chevy k1500 350 tbi with same problem! I have traced problem to... after turning on key fuel pump kicks on when u crank it over injectors shoot gas and truck starts! After few seconds injectors stop spraying and truck dies! This can happen many times over and over! Eventually sometimes truck stays running and all is great! I changed ignition module, oil pressure sending unit (which i was told controls gas after vehicle is running) fuel filter, computer, fuel pump relay, I am at a loss now! Hope this helps and hope someone can help me!

I installed new fuel pump and truck will idel for about 15 second

check to see if the injectors are working, what engine do you have? and what kind of fuel pressure are you getting? check fuses for the injector circuit, if your fuel pump is working and you know your spark is good, the next thing to check would be the injector system
