SOURCE: How do you access the spark plugs 2002 mercury mountaineer
IIRC these are a coil over design. meaning the coil is over the plug. the coil should have one 8mm bolt holding it on the lower intake manifold. remove the coild to get to the spark plugs. look by the fuel injectors, coil should be just next to it or very close. coil usually says motorcraft on it and circle in design.
good luck

The power distribution box is
located in the engine compartment.
The power distribution box contains
high-current fuses that protect your
vehicle’s main electrical systems
from overloads.
The starter relay is in position #56 of that box.
SOURCE: my 2002 mercury mountaineer window won't go back
First you should check the fuse for the windows. If the fuse is good you should press the button for the window and listen for a noise. If you hear a noise, then the motor has most likely gone bad and needs to be replaced. If you do not hear any noise, the switch for the window could be bad. If you are mechanically inclined, take the door panel off and use a voltmeter to test and see if power is getting to the motor when you press the switch. If it is not, you need to replace the switch.

Ask auto part store to suggest door panel removal tools. Economical.
SOURCE: airbag light on what does that mean
It means that your airbag system is not fully functioning and you need to have the dealer check it out. Whenever the airbag light stays illuminated after starting the vehicle, it means that there might be a problem with the air bag system and a check up is needed ASAP to make sure the system will operate properly in the event of an accident. It could be a faulty sensor, or it could be that a wire or connection is loose, etc., in any case, the dealer will need to check the airbag system to determine what the problem is.
I had a situation where an stereo installer had probed the wires in the airbag system and that caused the system to become non-functional, due to having voltage applied to the airbag wiring where it shouldn't have any voltage. It was an expensive fix, as he'd actually stripped the wires bare and he crossed several. Cost him a bunch to replace the wiring harness on my new vehicle.
