My car wont go into overdrive and takes a second to shift down into first when i come to a stop. it will slip occasionally when i start sometimes but it catches every time. most of the time it runs fine but wont shift into OD. I ran a trouble code and it said something about the torque converter and a sensor but i dont remember what it was exactly. hasnt come on since.

You simply disconnect the battery, and use sockets/wrench to remove the alternator. Make sure the battery is fully charged up before you install the new alternator.

i am not sure were or how you got that code. there are no trouble codes starting with a U or ending with any letter all engine performance codes will start with a P and then 4 numbers all ABS/TCS codes will be only 2 numbers and cant be retrieved with a code reader they must be retrieved by means of a test procedure i can get the procedure for you if you want it i will need your e-mail to send it to because fixya does not have enough space to post it on there sight.
