Got 2003 cherokee heater does not go hot at all were do i find heater valve
Mine did the same thing. The quick fix is to turn the knob to the heat side, then push gently on the knob itself. You'll instantly feel the air get warmer. The real fix entails taking the dash apart.
Check youre heater core...
Also the Jeep is known to have problems with the blend door in the AC?Heater unit itself. The dash has to be removed depending on the year to access it.

I solve the problem the vacum line was unhook on the passenger side under the glove box
SOURCE: heater only blows cold air but hoses are hot
Hi!
It
appears we have an Air lock scenario and you will need to perform a
system Bleed.
Park
the vehicle on level ground, when cold remove coolant filler cap,
start engine and leave to idle, turn heater on full and blower to
max. When engine reaches operating temperature watch and listen near
coolant filler, keep clear as gurgling and hopefully a boil over
should occur. Top up with very warm coolant and wait as it may do it
again.
Check
for heat inside vehicle if warm replace coolant cap but keep an eye
on temperature gauge as the ~Air lock may have moved on from heater
matrix/core so proceedure needs to be carried out again from COLD.
If
persistent boil ups/over attention must made in the cylinder head
or
gasket area, or possibly water pump?

Make sure the heater core is in the open position by using the shut off valve and turning it to open. next, you may have a malfunction in the direction door the directs the air flow in the dash. a lever may have become lose or separated. may be a bad servo motor not directing the door to move to the heater position. i would start by checking that shut off valve first on the heater core.
SOURCE: 1998 caddy sts over heating and blowing cold air when heat is on
sounds like it might be low on coolant. Low coolant levels will stop the flow and circulation to the heater core, and also might be the cause of overheating
SOURCE: Why doesn't the heater blow hot air?
If your "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light is on, you need to have that checked out first.
If not, the next thing you should check is your engine coolant level. (Antifreeze) If the coolant level is low, the engine coolant does not circulate through the heater core and the the heater doesn't work. The coolant level could be low for a number of reasons including a leaky hose, water pump, or head gasket. In any case, if it is found to be low, you need to find out why.
If the coolant level is OK then the thermostat function needs to be checked to make sure that the engine is reaching operating temperature.
If all of the above checks out OK, then the heater control valve and/or the blend air door in the HVAC housing needs to be checked for proper operation. (NOTE: some cars are not equipped with a heater control valve)
When I turn on the heat in my 2004 mazda mpv the front air vents blow heat but the rear air vents are blowing cold. I have adjusted every setting is there something I am overlooking.

I have the same issue. It's blowing air but no heat.
I have the same problem. Had it fixed a few years ago on passenger side (blend door problem) and now on driver's side (same problem) except now they have have to take the dash apart and steering wheel and it costs $1000 at Jeep dealer. Make sure if you have it fixed they don't use plastic.
