1999 f350 superduty dash light with the (!) came on what is it for

Is this the check engine light my snap on scanner says no codes present or pending, how do i clear the light

The problem turned out to be a bad park brake switch, thanks for the help

Sounds like the low tire pressure indicator. Check the air pressure in all 4 tires. If thats not the problem then it could be a sensor gone bad. Cold weather sometimes plays havoc with the tire pressure

Glow Plug: Service and Repair
Glow Plug
GLOW PLUG
Special Tool(s)

Removal
1. CAUTION: Do not pull on the wiring to remove the glow plug connector or damage may occur.
NOTE: Only one glow plug connector shown.
Using the special tool, remove the glow plug harness.
2. NOTE: If coolant residue is found on the glow plug, a new glow plug sleeve may have to be installed.
Remove the glow plug.
Installation
1. Install the glow plug.
- Tighten to 19 Nm (14 lb-ft).
2. Clean and apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals.
3. Using the special tool, install the glow plug harness.

There is a speed sensor on each front hub and one on top of the differential.

You need someone with a high level scan tool computer to scan for codes, and the live data to see what went wrong.

Tdc light comes on then loses power then light goes off then car picks up speed

First thing you need to do is to have the car scanned with a engine malfunction light scanner . then you'll get a engine trouble code. even if the check engine light shuts off for sure you'll get a pending code witch is a code that was seen but could be not present at the time you scan the car.

depending on what is the code then search on google for bmw engine trouble code list and repair procedures.

My 7.3 runs great when the service engine soon light is on. When the light turns off, why does it run rough and sometimes stalls?

If you can't find out the reason, get scanned the computer of your car for a disgnosis

Can't solve the problem without getting codes from scanner, but you should absolutely not drive a car with the check engine light "flashing" as this is an indication from the computer that serious engine damage will occur if you continue driving. This is with any car with a flashing check light.

I have a 2001 f350 superduty 7.3L with no headlights

Have you checked the main light switch, not the dimmer, look for a burnt connector to the main light switch, if found replace the light switch and the connector, the repair connector from the dealer must be soldered in and shrink tubed, no quick connectors. Here is a picture of the main light switch and the cost and part number.

I have a 99 350 superduty and fuse 3 under the hood has bkown and u would like to know wat it is the engine is a 7.3

It's for the right side stop and turn light for the trailer. It should be a 7.5 amp fuse (mini). Hope this helps....

Should be under the dash on the drivers side. Check your manual for the exact location of the fuse in the panel.

The check engine light in honda 99 come on mostly when you have bad gas tank cup,or you dont tight enouhg the gasoline tank cup,you can see if the problem of the check engine light is from what i talking about,going to any autozone and request the obd scanner,at no charge just leave your driver license or credit card,conect the scanner follow the isntructions,if the code in the scanner is p 1456,then the problem is that above,so dont panic car is almost normal,just give extra snap to the fuel tank cup and the check engine will come off in the next 3 to 5 days.

I have a 2oo2 f250 it failed a mvi for o2sensors and heaters, it does not have a check engine light on, and the snapon scanner does not detect any codes past or present , the check engine light does come...

I'd be tempted to take that snap on scanner to the mvi and show them.....their unit may need a calibration.

Ok ready to stand on your head under the dash?
It's doable... there is a flange connected to the gearshift lever under the steering column. If you remove the lower dash cover where the fuses are, you should be able to see it when you move the gear shift lever... look around on the floor of the truck to see if you dropped a star-headed bolt or two... these bolts worked loose on my superduty and made shifting very difficult..it was an easy fix... let me know how you do on it.
