We have one salesman that we service his tahoe
we did install new brakes and a fuel filter along with all the oil changes and tires.
we did have one scare was he had a auto start installed and the truck had to towed in here but the place that installed the auto start caused the problem.
the last oil change we did was at 122000 miles

im sure he will run it to 250000 or 300000 miles

SOURCE: '07 Tahoe; check engine light on steady. Just came

Have a dealer or garage check your Oxygen (O2) sensor. As a quick fix, try disconnecting and reconnecting your car battery. Sometimes this will reset the check engine light.Good Luck!

Taking out and placing new spark plugs in s 2007 Mercury mountaineer

What engine is in the Mountaineer....Spark plugs are good for 100,000 miles....You run the risk of cross threading the plugs....Also if the coils are mounted on each plug....They are very fragile and expensive....I recommend the dealer perform this service.............

I have a 2009 Chevy Tahoe with clunking concern. A tech at a shop examined and concluded the front shocks are going bad with leaking on the front shocks, and recommended to replace them. He said they are...

no
shock absorbers are an integral part of the safe driveability of the vehicle
shock absorbers with oil leaks are failed and should be replaced asap
suggest that you get firm with the dealer and demand that they be replaced if you have an extended warranty that covers the items
read the warranty as many extended warranties only cover engine and drive train and not what you have been lead to believe
which ever what happens the units need to be replaced
it is a strut type suspension it will also affect tyre wear

My jeep wrangler just passed 100,000 miles, what service does it need?

Here is the basic maintenance list for your Jeep:

~ Inspect lights and check tire pressure at least monthly or before & after each trail ride

~ Oil & filter change, chassis lubrication, differential and transfer-case fluids every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or 3 to 4 months - if you have recently crossed through water deep enough to submerge the centre of your hubs, replace the differential fluids as a precaution

~ Underhood belt and hose inspection every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or 3 to 4 months (every oil change)

~ Tire rotation and wheel balancing every 6,000 miles or every other oil change - driving offroad can knock wheel weights off a wheel, so you may need to have this done more frequently

~ Brake inspection every 6,000 miles or every other oil change - if you have rum brakes in the rear, ensure they are cleaned after each trail ride where you encountered deep mud/snow

~ Replace air filter every 12,000 to 24,000 miles or as indicated by inspection - dusty trails can shorten these intervals dramatically

~ Replace fuel filter every 24,000 to 100,000 miles

~ Automatic transmission service every 24,000 to 100,000 miles

~ Wheel alignment check every 12,000 to 24,000 miles or as indicated by tire wear - offroad driving can knock wheels out of alignment, so budget for an alignment every 3 months, then watch tread wear to see if it's needed

~ Cooling system flush and refill every 40,000 to 100,000 miles

~ Belt and hose replacement every 60,000 to 100,000 miles or 5 to 8 years

~ Engine timing belt replacement every 60,000 to 100,000 miles (when equipped) or 5 to 8 years

~ Air conditioning performance check annually, usually in the spring - be sure to run your A/C during the winter for brief period to ensure all hoses and valves stay lubricated and operable

Fuel guage does not work 1999 Chevy Tahoe

the 100% for sure cause of this problem is the sending unit for the fuel guage, it is located in the gas tank. U may have to replace the fuel pump module to get the sending unit, as a rule they are one piece, if u have over 100,000 miles that is a good idea anyway.
