Theory of operation. The bcm monitors the headlamp switch to know what is going on, the bcm then sends voltage to fog lamps, when activated. At the fog lamps two wire connector, the black wire is ground, the other wire is voltage comes from bcm. You can use test light to check voltage and ground with fog lamps turned on. There are codes for fog lamp, the two that I noticed, shorted to voltage or shorted to ground, these are B type codes, manufacturer specific. Check the codes.
I saw two 40 amp fuses going to bcm, those fuses are hot all the time. No specific fog lamp fuse because the voltage comes from bcm. Hope this helps a little. I can only help with testing.

TO REMOVE GRILLE FROM BEHIND THE BUMPER COVER RELEASE PLASTIC CLIPS AND DETACH THE GRILLE. IF YOU HAVE FOG LIGHTS DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS FROM THE FOG LIGHTS AND REMOVE THE FOG LAMP MOUNTING SCREWS BEFORE DETACHING THE GRILLE.WHEN YOU INSTALL GRILLE PLACE GRILLE IN POSITION AND SEAT THE CLIPS INTO HOLES IN THE BUMPER COVER. IF YOU HAVE FOG LAMPS INSTALL GRILLE IN POSITION THE INSTALL FOG LAMPS MOUNTING SCREWS BACK IN PLACE TO HOLD GRILLE IN POSITION.

Most fog lamps are replaced on your back,
by reaching up under & behind the lamp
holder e.g. behind the front bumper fascia

Nothing to remove other than the lamp socket

1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02.

1. Remove the aeroshield-to-sub frame screws.

1. Remove the seven screws and remove the aeroshield.

1. Disconnect the fog lamp assembly electrical connector.

1. Remove the fog lamp assembly.
   1. Remove the screws.
   1. Remove the lamp assembly.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fog lamps are installed on the front bumper. The switch is located to the left of the steering column on the dash panel. The fog lamps are turned off by the circuit relay when the high beam driving lamps are turned on. The circuit relay is located on the right front wheelhouse panel near the blower motor.

Removal & InstallationFog Lamp Element

1. Remove the lamp stone shields, the four bezel attaching screws, and the bezel.
2. Remove the reflector assembly from the lamp body.
3. Remove the bulb holder from the assembly. Remove the element from the bulb.

DO NOT handle elements with your bare hands, always handle with a clean cloth. Oil from your hands will cause the element to fail.

1. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Fog Lamp Switch
The fog lamp switch is removed and installed by simply prying the switch from the instrument panel and unplugging the electrical connector.
FOGLAMP BEAM ADJUSTMENT

1. Position the vehicle on a level surface, facing a wall approximately 25 feet away. Remove the lamp stone shields and loosen the adjustment nuts.
2. Turn the fog lamps ON and adjust as follows:
   1. Distance between the light beam centers should be equal to the distance between the lamp assemblies on the bumper.
   2. Height of the light beams on the wall should be 4 inches less than the center of the lamp assemblies when mounted on the bumper.
      
3. Install all previously removed items after turning OFF the fog lamps.

Notes FOG LAMP BULB REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the front bumper fascia deflector.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front fog lamp bulb/socket. CAUTION: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Rotate the front fog lamp bulb/socket counterclockwise to release.
2. Remove the fog lamp bulb/socket from the front fog lamp assembly.

1. Install the fog lamp bulb/socket to the fog lamp rotating clockwise until fully seated. CAUTION: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Connect the electrical connector to the front fog lamp bulb/socket.
2. Install the front bumper fascia deflector.

Well, these are the steps and I will post the pic here in a second...looks like 2 screws...but like I said, you can see the picture for direction on this.

Connector

2 screws

2 claw fittings

Fog lamp assembly

Fog lamp bulb as shown

Fog light unit

To Install

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Fog light unit
   • Fog lamp bulb as shown
   • Fog lamp assembly latch the 2 claw fittings and 2 screws
   • Connector
   • Front turn signal lamp
