It should be along the frame on the left side, under the vehicle. Beware, you will lose about a half gallon of fuel upon removal. Move out of the way is the best way to avoid minor chemical burns. 2 wrenches are required not to twist the line. You have to use a backup.

I have an 06 Equinox with same prob. It's a common problem in these vehicles according to others.....My service guy keeps telling me nothing is wrong. I just laugh at him. Don't waste your money on a tune up. Search online for other Equinox owners.....there are more issues out there. You are not the only one.

Make sure the doors and trunk,and hood are shut,open them,and shut them .activate the anti theft,wait about 1 minute,and disarm it,see if it will start,if not,the key fob may need to be relearned,try turning the key on,leave it ten minutes,then turn it off,and right back on,then wait ten minutes,and turn it off,and right back on,do this a total of three times,,30 minutes,then try and start.
