You will find a fuse labeled HORN and a relay labeled HORN in the under hood fuse flock. Pull either of those to stop the horn from blowing.

If you need info on how to fix it i can help. You will need a test light or a voltmeter.

You can also try swapping the horn relay with another relay in the fuse block that is the same. If the horn works normally than the relay is bad and will need to be replaced.

1999 Dodge Ram 1500. How to make the horn stop going off constantly.

It is a known issue. Lots of ideas, mine is a to call out an auto-electrician with a pro-grade scan tool computer. When the battery is disconnected, and the key is in the ignition and the doors are closed, the horn shouldn't go off. Make sure you leave the windows open in case it self locks. After that, you need to do a security reset. There are 3 ways here.

My horn will not stop honking.

Fuse # 15 control power to the horn relay, remove the fuse and see if it stops blowing, that is one test, secondly remove the relay to see if this disable it. You could also have a horn button that is stuck in the engage position.

Horn will not work, fuse not out, can't locate relay

find the horn in the engine compartment first. disconnect, then with some speaker wire, test it with the battery. If it honks, the the problem is elsewhere. If not, then you need a new horn.

2003 Mitsubishi Lancer horn not honking

Usually when the horn doesn't honk it's a blown fuse

try running the ODB sensor on it... it should tell you the code...

then you can look the code up and it should tell you the problems...

Usually AutoZone or Advanced Discount Auto will do this for free for you :)

Horn wont stop

sounds like the horn contact terminal inside the steering wheel got disconnected and is hitting a metal part of the steering column which triggers the horn. the terminal that got disconnected is probably has positive polarity and the metal part of the steering column has negative polarity. If they come in contact with each other... *honk* *honk*

Broken Horn won't *******- 2003 Chevrolet Malibu

Hi. If your airbag has not deployed, you don't have to replace it. The airbag may have to be removed to get at the horn circuit. Try taking it to an independent auto repair place. I'll be willing to bet that they'll give you a better price for the repair. Good luck! ricardok45
