2002 Acura TL no power to the radio

One day I turned on my car and there is no power to my radio. I checked all the fuses and tried disconnecting the battery but nothing. I took apart the dash hoping to pull out the radio and look at it but it was a pain and didn't have time Also I noticed that the red light on the radio isn't blinking. Any suggestions.

same prob. i think there is some kind of fuse somewhere that is not with the rest. if i dont find a fix soon i will tone the power wire to the radio and see where it goes and see if something is tripped.

I'm having the same trouble. I saw that this happened 2008 I was hoping you could tell me what happened to your car. I have high hopes that I can fix this radio without going to the dealership and get me rip off.

Do this: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!

Your vehicle's audio system may disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason. To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code with the preset buttons. Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from the five digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.

If you have no power to radio at all you may need to check all the fuses I do not see a fuse labeled radio but you have 3 fuse boxes.
Drivers side, passenger side and under hood.

Sorry I could not give a exact location.

No power to the radio, Checked all fuses under, drivers panel, and passengers panel. I have my codes but without power they are useless.

have you checked the fuse at the back of the radio ? If ok and has power to the radio then check the earth is ok, and the ignition on power is ok , if all these are ok then the fault lies within the radio

My radio fuse keeps blowing, I tried to put a bigger one but still blowing, I have a 2007 Acura TL

you obviously have a short in the radio circuit, you need to pull the radio out and check the wiring, try replacing the fuse, with the correct size and see if the fuse blows with the radio disconnected, if not the radio is the fault

Radio quit working

Sounds like someone shorted the wires...you need to look into the entire butcher job and see what wires were touched. Disconnect everything the butcher did and then see if your battery is still drainning power.

Radio was in safe mode for a while then one day didn't turn on. I read if you took out the fuse for 15 secs and put it back in it would solve the problem. But I had no luck
