Where is the oil pressure sending unit located on the motor on 5.7 litter hiemi

Under neath the vehicle , near the oil filter , I believe on the passenger side. Look where the oil filter screws onto then look just right above it , it will most likely be wet with oil. (Chrysler oil senders tend to leak through the sensor itself. It should be a green connector to the sensor. Be careful it has a tab lock(red) remove tab lock disconnect sensor and unscrew. Replace it with either a napa brand sensor or dealer.

I want replaced diesel filter from dyna lorry

there are 2 types, one is just a cartridge just like a small oil filter, this one just unscrews like an oil filter, when you replace it there is a round knob that unscrews and becomes a pump, just pump it until it becomes firm then try starting it with your foot on accelerator until engine starts. The other has a filter with a bowl under it, they have a small bolt in the center top of the housing, undo the bolt and the filter will drop free of the housing. these have O rings top and bottom and a bleed nipple off center, loosen the bleed screw pump the pump until air stops coming out the bleed, close bleed nipple then follow the same start procedure. any fuel leaks will stop your engine from starting but do not over tighten either filter because they can be damaged

Lister Petter diesel generator that won't start

Here is some reasons and solutions for diesel generator fail to start:
1. There is air in the fuel systems
Check if the fuel line connection is loose and remove air from the fuel system. First unscrew the exhaust screws on the injection pump and the fuel filter and pump the oil with the hand pump until there are no bubbles in the spilled fuel. After, tighten the exhaust screw. Pump oil again, when there is return oil in the tubing, then tighten the hand pump. Loosen the nut of the high pressure tubing at one end of the injector, pry high injection pump plunger spring seat, when there is no bubble in the fuel out of the nozzle, spin the nut, then pry a few more times, so that each cylinder injector is filled with fuel.
2. The fuel line is blocked. Check if the pipeline is unimpeded.
3. Fuel filter block. Clean filter or replace filter.
4. Oil pump does not supply oil or intermittent oil supply. Check that the inlet pipe is leaking, and that the filter screen on the inlet joint is blocked. If no oil is supplied after removal, the intake pipe and oil pump shall be inspected.

How do you change oil filter

The oil filter is a can shaped object that is screwed into the side of the engine.
You need an oil filter removal tool that wraps a strap around the oil filter so you can unscrew the oil filter in an anti-clockwise direction. When the oil filter is loosened you will get some oil spillage.
When you replace the oil filter, apply a little fresh oil on the rubber o-ring seal before you screw the oil filter back onto the engine. Do not over tighten the oil filter as you can damage the o-ring seal and cause the oil to leak out of the engine when the engine is running.
After installing the new oil filter I suggest you start the engine and let it run until the engine warms up, then check the oil filter to see if there is any oil leaks from the oil filter (between the engine and the oil filter). If it leaks and you have not tighened the oil filter enough then screw the filter a little tighter/

Oil is leaking from where the oil filter screws in. Is that the oil pump? Only leaks when car is running, kind of pours out! I replaced the oil pan gasket and its leaking from that thing that te oil filter...

Did you check the old oil filter if the Oring is present when you remove it? If the not, the old Oring is still there, so, you have two Oring there, that's why is leaking. Remove the new oil filter and remove the other one O ring, the old one and then install it back, and don't forget to wet with oil the Oring before you install it back. ok

Oil light intermittent, fades, sometimes steady

Check the connection where the wire plugs onto the sender unit. If it's loose, or the wire shorts out to the body, it might flicker. If this isn't the problem, unscrew the sender unit and check your oil pressure using an oil pressure gauge screwed into the same hole. The pressure should be above 40 psi if my mind serves me correct. If it's too low you'll have to replace or check the oil pump. Did you replace the oil filter and oil recently? If the filter is blocked or the oil is old it might also cause the pressure to drop too low.

Please help , where can i see the oil filter of nissan sedan 1990 pulsar on this car engine. i try to look around the engine i did not notice the oil filter. im tryin to put new engine oil and the oil...

Your oil filter is screwed onto a threaded tube coming out of the block (which is the lower part of the engine. Get you new filter and look under the engine you should see it clearly. It may not be the same color but it should be the same shape & size. It should unscrew counter clockwise, make sure the this rubber gasket comes off with the old filter. You can use any suitable tool to remove the old one but only put the new one on hand tight. Usually lubricating the gasket on the new filter is a good idea. Just use some engine oil. You car takes 3 3/4 quarts 5w30 oil after draining old oil & removing filter.
