Snapping: There are instances that whenever i step on my clutch pedal the cable seems like to be getting out of hook from the pedal, i consulted it to a mechanic but he can't figure out what's the cause of doing this intermittent action.

loosen the Adjustment screw on the Clutch master cylinder, carefully lift the pedal upward and connect the push rod to the pedal pin, Tighten the push rod adjustment screw, verify the the clutch operates correctly. (Haynes Repair Manual page 8-5, section 9 step 11 through 14) I highly recommend you get the Haynes repair manual on the vehicle ISBN: 978-1-56392-596-2 as it is possible that your vehicle may have a hydraulic clutch and if it does the steps to adjust the clutch assembly are more entailed.
UNLESS YOU ARE A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCED MECHANIC, WITH THE CORRECT TOOLS, I RECOMMEND A COMPETENT SHOP THAT WILL GUARANTEE THE WORK. OTHERWISE, IT'S RECOMMENDED TO BUY A HAYNES REPAIR MANUAL AND FOLLOW THE STEPS EXACTLY-ALSO THERE MAY BE EXACT INSTRUCTIONS ONLINE IF YOU GOOGLE >> CHANGE or REPLACE WATER PUMP DODGE NEON(and engine size)
I'm serious here, try giving it a bang on top of the dash above speedo, with open hand, and see if anything happens. Had same problem with my 95 but finally found fix. See if that makes everything come back on, and let me know, and I'll try to give you a step-by-step on remedy.
It sounds like the clutch is slipping which means replacement. If the engagement occurs 3/4 of pedal travel it means that there is enough movement to fully compress the clutch plate. The plate must be worn severely. Get more than one estimate and they should include clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing. Good luck.
Yup, I'd have to agree if all those things check out. Funny I thought there must have been more to the question, when all it asked about was switch noise & codes. Anyway, sounds like you've checked everything, right down to power at solenoid terminal when key cycled to start, so That would be my next step.
there is a way to pressure bleed the system. depress and lock the clutch pedal down with the use of a pedal depresser or a stick, long extension something, with the pedal depressed crack the bleeder open and the pressure plate springs should force fluid out of the bleeder. note in some cases the pedal will stick in the depressed position. without the springs from the pressure plate. this is normal. just manually return the pedal to its start position, and repeat until air is purged.
