2005 LS #7 cylinder misfire

Replaced all the plugs and replaced the #7 coil. Check engine light came back on 2 days later and has exact same code. Car just has a little something not running right about it and there is no way that the cylinder is bad or it would be knocking and running terribly. What else could it be?? Maybe a sensor or some kind of device? 84k miles

SOURCE: check engine light on.code is po113.sensor 1 circuit high input

If the only code you have is a P0113 then the answer to your question is no it can not be the oxygen sensor. P0113 indicates that the IAT sensor is reading at -46 deg F. With the computer thinking it is that cold it will need lots of fuel, cold air is more dense and com-pack so more molecules of oxygen and therefore needs more fuel to keep correct air/fuel ratio.
Do you have a way to measure voltage across the sensor?
You should have about 5V coming into the sensor and around 1.5 to 3.0V(depending on the temp) leaving it.

SOURCE: 2000 ls cylinder 4,6,7,8 misfire

Your cylinders are most likely misfiring because of faulty coils. Each cylinder has its own seperate coil and the coils get oil on them from leaking valve cover gaskets in these cars.

They are relatively easy to replace however.
I would also change the valve cover gaskets if their is oil on any of the coils.

I hope this helps,

SOURCE: 2002 Lincoln LS misfire on cylinder 6.

A bad coil pack can foul out the spark plugs. I have also been told the computer might need to be reset for around $100. You must use Motorcraft OE plugs for this car to run at its best is what my mechanic told me.

SOURCE: 2001 LINCOLN LS V6 - ROUGH IDLE / SOMETIMES STALLING.

Very common problem is about a dime size hole wearing in the rubber elbow on the PCV valve located on the driver side rear of the intake manifold.

I HAVE A 2000 LINCOLN LS. IT IS MISSING BAD AT AN

What you do, is get to a shop,NOT THE DEALER, that has a professional scanner and oscilloscope. Not a code reader. Now you know that codes alone DO NOT tell you what's wrong and never what to replace. I have a 2004. This is Fords most complex vehicle ever. Sort of a test bed for them and a nightmare for us. You will need to find the best driveability tech you can find to work on it. It won't be cheap, nor a quick fix

Check engine light flashing

The a/c is causing more of a load on the engine control system. What exactly did you replace? Was it the coil for that cylinder?
There are times when more than one coil is faulty, it just so happens that was the pending code that appeared.
My suggestion is, get the car diagnosed and ask for the mode 6 misfire counts for all cylinders. This way you get a better idea of all cylinders.

Error Code Cylinder 7 Mis-Firing & Vibration When Going Up Hill

yes i would change the plug wires , you can take a spray bottal with water and spray that wire, and if it starts to run real bad then it is shorting out, you may also have a injector going bad you can test this buy puting a ohms meter on it and ck the ohms it should read the same or close to the same as the other if not it will need replaced

2005 lincoln ls going into etc failsafe mode

I had to replace 4 different coils on my '02 LS before it finally stopped misfiring. After one code and coil replaced it would go to the next one. I had to replace them in this order, 2,3,7,8

When # 7 was misfiring it wouldn't even pull a code all of the time, the check engine light would come on one day then go off the next, really strange.
