if the tech found a broke tube, then that tube is NO GOOD. period
most times EVAP fails are bad gas cap or not tight , 99% are.
you did not post the DTC error so answers run hard.

This is common in the Nissan's could be the cam and crank sensor these go at around 70000 to 120000 should do both at once to be safe. that will fail an emissions test for sure. hope this helps

some cars glow the OD lamp or the Drive light, to show errors.
if yours does, nows the time to say so../...\

id know its USA smog fail. and CEL glowing.....all the time...
and open the the hood, and see what engine is there, UN-SAID.
and scan it and see the codes, and drive it and see the tranny (if A/T) mess up.
what codes are you getting?

DTC P1624 - MIL Request Signal active


This code is only the TCM (Transmission Control Module) telling the ECM (Engine Control Module) to turn on the check engine light.

If you don't have other codes there, could be a Communication Lost from the TCM; first I suggest to check all fuses and good harnesses conections correctly.

Go to AutoZone or Kragen and get a $9.00 bottle of PASS ANY SMOG TEST or double
your money back (keep your receipt). You just pour it into your gas tank at a FILL UP and run
that gas down then refill your tank and take your Smog Test. It will pass. What state are you in??
