On My 1998 Toyota Camy when the car is on my brakes lights wont go off but if the car its off the brake light work fine why??

These Toyotas had daytime running lights. The headlights and the taillights turn on when you start the car. If you press the brake pedal, the rear lights (and the brake light in the rear window) should come on brighter.

I have never heard of the brake light staying on (The brighter filament in the two-filament bulb). Hope this helps.

I have a 1996 cbr600 f3 and the brake light stays on I've disconnect the rear connector that works the rear brake light an they turn off meaning it's not the front brake Now my question is how do I fix...

Check that the switch is closing fully when pedal is up. There is a small spring connecting the switch to the pedal. If this is ok replace the switch.

Rear brake lights don't turn off

your brake lights are connected to a button that is adjustable on the upper end of the brake pedal, under the dash. check and adjust the button so it is only activated when the brake is pressed.

Rear running lights and brake lights wont work on my 1981 ford f100 new bulbs and light switch what do i do next

I'd start probing with a test light, or continuity test. Try in & out of your brake switch at pedal, if power there, follow harness outside & down under, and work your way back, or start at plug under, at rear bumper area,or above, near axle probably, & work forward. If you use continuity tester, run a jumper wire from wire going from switch at brake pedal (wire that doesn't have power until pedal pressed.) long enough to reach the back tail lights & see if continuity is there,at back of socket, or in socket, then work forward from there. My guess is that when you find the bad spot in that wire, you'll find the other too.

1996 isuzu rodeo problem

TO TROUBLE SHOOT ELECTRICAL YOU MIGHT NEED TO TRY A GOOD BULB OF CORRECT TYPE INTO SOCKET IN BRAKE FIXTURE THEN ALSO MAKE CERTAIN THE REGULAR TAIL LIGHT ELEMENT IS GOOD REPLACE FUSE WITHOUT PRESSING BRAKE LIGHTS ON IF FUSE IS OK THEN TURN ON THE RUNNING LIGHTS SEE IF THE ONE IN QUESTION IS COMING ON IF IT IS AND THE FUSE IS OK THEN PRESS BRAKE PEDAL AND SEE IF THE BULB LIGHTS WITH THE BRAKE ON ALSO THE FOUR WAY FLAHER IF FUSE IF STILL GOOD IT MIGHT ALLOW DASH LIGHTS TO COME ON MANY VEHICLES HAVE A SAFETY WAY OF LETTING YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NO TAIL LIGHTS BY ALSO TURNING OFF THE DASH LIGHTS.
