Check for a blown fuse in the vehicle's fusebox. It should have a listing of each fuse size and what it powers on the backside of the cover or in the vehicle manual. if fuse is blown just replace it with same type.

That's not the problem,I checked all fuses

Then there is a possible loose wire connection or bare wire that is shorting system out. It could also be possible blown bulbs in the tail lights. Do both sets of your brake lights work when brake is pressed?

Yes brake lights work,I checked the wiring going from the headlight switch to the back, could it be the headlight switch?the headlights work also

I will check bulbs,it is kinda weird for both to go out at same time?

1994 dodge dakota my headlights and tail lights and brake lights don't work my abs and parking brake lights are on my dash lights don't work either I replaced the headlight switch and still no

These are all different circuits. The brake lights are on a 10amp fuse - the headlights are on a 50amp fuse - and the parking and dash lights are on a 20amp fuse.
Do you have power going into the headlight switch and the brake light switch ?

My dash lights dont work at all

The tail lights are usually on the same fuse as your dash lights. Check to see if you have tail lights. If they are on and it's only your dash lights that don't work, check the dash dimmer switch for a fault.

Tail lights and dash lights don't work

You should check all the bulbs and your wiring circuit for fuses outside the fuse box, such as in line fuses.

I have an 01 ford Powerstroke and the dash lights and tail lights dont work. i just replaced the headlight switch today. Still have the problem

Dash lights and tail lights are commonly on the same circuit. When your dash lights go out, you know you don't have any tail lights. Pull out the owner's manual and figure out which fuse (or fuses) are for the tail lights.

Dash lights won't come on

Turn the headloights on and see if the tail lights work, if not check the fuse inside at the left lower dash under the cover, check the fuse marked "tail", the tail lights are working then the problem may be the rheostat switch, make sure it's turned to the brightest setting, if the dash lites still don't work let me know.
