There is a special tool you can buy to help remove the quick fasteners. If you don’t want to purchase the tool you can use a flat blade screw driver. Be careful, they break easy.

SOURCE: door panel removal

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

How do I remove the door assembly on a 1994 gmc Sierra k1500

Hello,

There's in usually two ways to remove a car door. Either the hinges bolt to the frame of the car, OR they bolt to the inside of the door. In some cases they are welded in place, but that's pretty rare. If you can open the door, look in the door jam snd you should see the bolts. If you don't, try removing the interior door panel and look on the inside of the door (towards the front) and you should see them there. I'm sure the window frame will have to be in the "up" position. Good luck.

My 1994 Chevy 1500 4x4 wont go into four wheel drive.

Sounds like the problem that I had with my '94 chev sub k1500, twice!
The first time it was due to a blown fuse. Now I carry a spare 20A fuse when I go off-road.
The second time the electrically controlled/heated, fluid filled actuator mounted on the front diff failed. I now carry a spare actuator when I go off-road.
the actuator is powered when the switch on the top of the transmission is energized. I have had no problems with that switch, or the connecting wiring.

I have a 1994 Chev K1500 with a 5.7. I need to set the timing but the manual says to unplug the EST. The manual says the EST is in the panel inside the engine compartment on the firewall but I can not find...

the est wire is located on the passenger side on firewall behind a plastic cover in the shape of a T in the engine compartment.it is a single wire with a connector and is a tan wire with a black stripe on it.this is the wire you disconnect to set timing, you may have to pull it out of the wiring loom for easier access

I can't figure out how to remove the OEM door lock cylinder in my 1994 K1500 Blazer. I can get the handle unfastened, but not removed from the door. Also, can't figure out how to remove the retaining clips...

in order to remove the cylinder, You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge.then you have to pull back the seal covering the door and remove the bolts holding the handle, door cylinder, and linkage assembly from inside the door
