Battery was shot radio and windows would not work so i jumped it drove it a couple miles to another house and changed battery. Battery light was still on then left running and voltage was drained. Changed alternator and battery light is still on and truck stalls when running and I disconnect the positive terminal on the battery. Though i got a bad alternator and changed it again but still happens.
I have a 2000 Ford Expodition, After changing the alternator for the third and final time, I jump started it several time till I could get it to a repair shop, the owner looked at several things and did a few test. then replaced the #1 fuse a 20Amp Power point fuse that was blown. it has worked fine ever since. BTW he did not charge me anything, made a new firend and customer.
It could be just a bad connection to the alternator or the fuse for it is blown also check the voltage regulator it could be in the computer if it is bad you will have to get a new ecm really expensive

changed battery had a someone test the alternater it was fine. Battery still dying
