Question about 2000 Toyota ECHO
I replaced the rear brake shoes on my 2002 toyota echo now the drum won't go back on why? the old shoes and new shoes are the same size

I had a similiar problem with mine the hand brake was stuck on and wouldn't let the new drums go back on.

You need to rotate the starwheel brake adjuster inward, to let the shoes come together. Then, you can slide the drum back on. You will need to readjust the starwheel again, after the drum is on, to obtain the proper position for the new brakes.
