The fuel pump fuse blows on switch on the ignition switch. I disconnected the connector going to fuel pump and other modules located inside the fuel tank. Even then fuse blows. I replaced the whole fuse box. The van started for two minutes and then fuse blew. I don't have the circuit diagram of underhood fuse box to trace any short circuit. It is typical problem and one of your most expert can diagnose it. Thank you.

to all...it may be a switch problem. if it was the wiper motor, common sense says you wouldn't have any wipers at all. also have someone go over the wiper relay in your vehicles.

If this was not a problem before the pump replacement then the sender in the tank may of faied or is contaminated with sulfer which is corrosive to the silver electrical contacts.
Do a search on sulfur corrosion and fuel sender units. Gm has big problem with this. Its possable the stress from removing the old and installing the new pump created an issue with contacts. If this is the case you will now need a sender unit.
