Nissan march driver side park light and tail light problem

Hi, the park light and tail light on the driver side of my nissan march 2003 are not working, I have checked the bulbs are fine.

So, is it a wiring problem, please tell me where I should be looking at, thank you very much!

    Thank you for the help.

The problem has been solved now: yes, the first step I've done was finding the fuse as well. But for nissan march, the fuse that protect the driver side parking light, tail light and number plate light was located in a white box under the head light on passenger side.

However, when I replaced the fuse, and turn the lights on, the fuse blowed up instantly, then I was looking for the short. The short was caused by the stereo!!

When I took the stereo out, I found that the ground signal wire of the stereo was connected with one had the same colour as the tail light does, which means the tail light positive power supply was short with ground, when I unplug the cd and rewired it, the problem's solved!!

This maybe true. I recently installed a CD player. I've check all fuses, swap bulbs and I started to trace the wires. I notice a white box under the headlight but figered it was storing something else. I'll check there and I'll check the stereo.

Check the fuses- some car makes uses individual fuses per side. Just saw that in a mitsubishi- I believe Nissan does that too. Those fuses are probably under your hood.

Tail lights not working on 2017 Nissan Sentra replaced brake light bulbs still no tail lights

PARKING, LICENSE PLATE AND TAIL LAMPS OPERATION When the lighting switch is in 1st or 2nd position, BCM detects the LIGHTING SWITCH 1st or 2nd POSITION ON. The BCM sends a parking light ON request via the CAN communication lines to the IPDM E/R. The IPDM E/R then activates the tail lamp relay which sends power to the parking and instrument illumination circuits.

Did you check tail lamp relay ? Check for voltage with volt meter ?

04 Nissan maxima tail lghts don't always come on right away thought maybe headlight switch not sure need help

Download 2004 Nissan Maxima Lighting System Section LT PDF Manual 190 Pages Do you know how to do electrical testing with volt ohm meter ? Do you know what a BCM is ? COMPUTER !
Control of the parking, license plate, and tail lamp operation is dependent upon the position of the lighting switch (combination switch). When the lighting switch is placed in the 1ST position, the BCM (body control module) receives input signal requesting the parking, license plate, side marker and tail lamps to illuminate. This input signal is communicated to the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) across the CAN communication lines. The CPU (central processing unit) of the IPDM E/R controls the tail lamp relay coil. This relay, when energized, directs power to the parking, license plate, rear side marker and tail lamps, which then illuminate.

Hi my Nissan np300 got no tail lights dash lights and parking lights.Cheched fuses install new bulbs in the tail lights cheched wiring for brackage all seems good.

Did you change the radio out? Often people change the radio, cut the oem harness and fail to cover the dimmer lead which then can short to ground and kill the entire parking light circuit (which runs the listed lights)

Brake lights and turn signals work, tail lights will not come on. Please help

The brake lights and tail lights use the same ground. So if the brake lights work the ground is good.
There is a relay and then a fuse for each side.
I would check the sockets with a meter to see if the circuits have power with the parking lights on.

Where are fuse blocks on a 2004 suburan

I've got a 2003 Suburban that has two fuse panels, one inside under the steering wheel and another under the hood, drivers side behind main battery. All lighting fuses are under the hood, Plastic cover with battery symbol pulls up to remove, should be a panel schedule inside the cover. The tail light fuses are in upper left section labeled RR Park and LR Park.
