The oil filter is just behind the bumper of the drivers side. There is a small plastic cover (4x #10 bolts) that allows access directly onto the filter. The sump plug is a #17 (strange size to me) and is at the back of the sump (about 300mm behind the filter).

CHANGING ENGINE OIL Be careful not to burn yourself, as the engine oil is hot. 1. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. 2. Stop the engine. 3. I have an '03 Hyundai Accent 1600cc. I am told by the techies at the local dealer, the fuel filter is ON the fuel tank. You gain access to it by removing the back seat, then opening the panel beneath the back seat. Replace the filter, screw the panel back onto the floor and the job is done....

2006 Hyundai Getz. The car lost acceleration now won't start after fuel pump & filter replaced/

Question edited for clarity and full 'year make model'.
Question moved to correct category.

Did you disconnect the battery when you did that work. That would mean the security needs to be reset. They seem to have a history of not starting though!!

What causes my Hyundai Getz 2007 to rattle when I start it up in the morning rattle lasts for a couple minutes

indicates worn hydraulic lifters leaking back oil and are dry on start up
Cheap fix
is to use a heavier oil ( 30w-50 instead of 10-20) use oil filters that have an anti drain valve in them
dear fix
is to replace the lifters with new ones

How do i remove the oil filter

The Hyundai Getz takes a spin on oil filter. You just need to locate it under the bonnet and spin it off to replace. If it is tight you may need a tool to help.
Of course this should be done with an oil change, so follow the appropriate procedure
