Seat belts how do you reset the seat belts in my 02 pt after a crash

The 02 monitor will reset after 300 miles of normal driving and must include One soak period of 8 hrs to reset all monitors, drive a little more, I hope this helps, take care. Merry Christmas.

you need to replace the switch in the seat belt clip ,I will bet the small wire has snaped,dont repair replace it,cheep and easy to do .

take this car to your dealership you may be missing the required sensors.they can tell by using their computer

sensor on the seat belt fastener bad. Wiggle it to make it go off with the seat belt locked in place or change the sensor.

That volvo and most of modern cars today uses a small explosive charge, placed in that retaining gear of seat belts. It will be activated to a collision.

To activate that seat belt, you must replace the whole retaining gear with that same type of safety precaution system.

The only way you could get a cheaper normal seatbelt is to replace it with an ordinary retaining gear lock, mostly Japanese seat belt or the older pre 1990 type that has no explosive charge.

you may have 2 problems 1 ightion switch and a seat belt pretensioner both faly common problems

Unfortunately, Yes, You will need new Seat Belts also. Once the Seat Belts and the AirBags are Deployed in a Crash, There is no Reset for the Belts. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
