You may not have a leak, the problem may be with the sensor on the fuel tank that tells the Power Train Control module if the system holds vacuum, like all sensors these will and do fail on occassion, if you ran a leak down test and the system held vacuum within the manufacturers specs then the sensor may very well be the problem that is turning on the check engine light.

i would suggest checking fuel pressure and fuel filter could have little dirt or something clogging fuel and engine light will stay on due to too rich or too lean of fuel/air mixture

code p0441 refers to evaporative emission EVAP system-incorrect flow detected===causes hose connections--intake leak---EVAP canister purge valve
Po144 refers to the same fault and causes
Po446 refers to EVAP system--vent control-circuit malfunction===causes --wiring---EVAP canister purge valve---ECM In all cases codes the canister purge valve gets a mention and then the ECM. I would take it back and ask that the canister purge valve be changed or even ask for a new canister as there are occasions when filling the tank to the filler hole will induce fuel into the canister causing it to malfunction.

Engine wont start, BCM just replaced, inflatable restraint and check engine light on.

need to start with do you have any obd code with key turned on
caddy is more complex system than most , check fully charged battery, and not a jump start, and battery is in very good condition .disconnecting battery would only clear codes leaving you with nothing to go on hopes this is some help to you.

The check engine light came on. I was wondering if you could tell me what it might be? Also how big of a danger is it for me to wait a week or two to fix it? Im only driving 5-10 miles a day in town. ...

Check engine light, means your car computer pick up a code, most auto parts or autozone will pull codes, get back with us with the trouble code number. so we can help you diag. your trouble code, more the likely it pick up a cylinder miss fire, nothing a tune-up won't fix, from what your saying, you should be alright for a few weeks till you can have it check out, the system will go into limp mode and will not stall or die on you.

well the first thing you should do is check the compression in cyl number four the compression should be within 5-8 of the nearest cyl if you see a significant diffrence in pressure you have a week cylinder...also is there any discoloration on the number 4 spark plug a coolant soaked or fuel soaked spark plug can lead u in the right direction..lastly i would take a look at the exact fuel pressure you will need a gauge and take a look low or high fuel pressure can cause a misfire....keep in mind that a clogged catylitic convertor can also cause a misfire do to accesive back pressure give your convertor a tap and see if its rattling ....hopefully this can lead u in the right direction ...good luck
