You can remove one by one spark cables, using a propriet isolator and observe change at engine's revolution. If removing a spark cable ( i.e. No3) and dont see decreasing change revolutions , then No3 cylinder is not working and you have to check next it's injector , valve clearance, or compression rate, to conclude what causes the problem.
This could be the cause of your problem. Replace the spark plugs, plug wires, fuel and air filters, etc. Also, replace the oxygen sensor. In addition, service the fuel injection system. Clean the carbon deposits from the throttle bore and idle passages.

Soundlike yu need new fuel injectors, thats pretty much the worst problems those engines ever have, the part is about $300 but alot of labor.
also check whether is cold or warm when rough if cold then cold start injector is bad.
it also causes due to its either an oxygen sensor or you have vacume leak in one of your hoses by the manifold.
also check properly
Could be a plugged fuel filter or a plugged catalytic converter. Try the fuel filter first as it relatively cheap.
also try try cleaning the air filter and the fuel injection system .
Check the timing belt, plugs, leads, spark plug seals (was leaking oil on top plugs), MAf sensor and Battery, oil/filter, TPS (throttle position sensor). Acceleration problems can also be caused by faulty fuel system. Check the fuel filter and fuel pump.
As for the idle issue, get the Idle Speed Actuator checked.
As you can see, there are quite a number of causes for this problem you are facing. You best get the engine checked out on a scanner before you start changing parts which may not be required.
Hope that helps!
If it is not firing on one cylinder, check and eventually replace distributor rotor, or electronic injection module.
Check also for camshaft problems.
First ensure that the motor is not dying after too many miles of service, if it is over 140K miles, that can be normal, in that case you get black smoke from exhaust as oil is being combusted on the cylinder.
Check also that it is not a compression problem, if car does not have enough compression, that can be due to problem with the head gasket.
When head gasket is starting to go, the coolant level is going down by itself, as water or coolant is being vapourized inside the engine.
Often you also get kind of white smoke from exhaust.
Once you are sure that it is not a major problem with the engine, ask the mechanic to connect the computer module that controls car electronic injection and distribution (The ECU or ECM), and to perform a full scan.
This will return error codes that will allow the mechanic to locate the problem.
By the way, if it is not firing on one cylinder, and engine is not burning oil, replace spark plugs, and check distribution cap, look for any crack, and excessive carbon dust in there.
If there is an electronic distribution module (small printed circuit board), and it is none of the above, replace the electronic distribution module.
Regards.
