Servicing I bought a used 2000 Jetta and it did not come with a user manuel. My question is: At what mileage point do I need to take my car in to get it serviced?

You cannot interchange these speedo clusters as they are coded to the vehicle ECU. The only way to repair the failed LCD display (a common problem) is to incur the exorbitant cost of a new unit installed and coded by the dealers. I have had electronics "experts" strike out in the past so if someone else has a solution I stand to be corrected!

Follow that alone you will break down

You should change the timing belt & timing kit (tensioning roller, water pump, guide roller) at every 90000 km (56000 miles).

Not possible . 180 mile per tank is single digit mpg. You would be blotting out the sun there would be so much smoke.

Make sure you fill completely. About 12 gallon in empty tank.

Reset trip on cluster and drive until half tank on gauge....check mileage.

Set the tapper which is in the engine.Tapper means engine setting point.

go to the dealer war you bought the car and thay will help you order new keys for it

Most any model should work. They will supply you with all the wiring points for your paticular car. They come with very detailed instructions, and often a 800 number to call, if you run into problems.

get after market radio installed.

Do you have the Hayes book for your car? Most of the codes are written in that book. That's what I use.
