I have a 2001 toyota corolla. The car blows the 7.25 fuse everytime we turn on the air conditioner. why is it doing this and how do I fix it. Thank you.
I unplugged the wire, replaced the fuse and started the car. Then, I turned on the ac button and the fuse blew. Do I need to replace the whole compressor with ac clutch or just the ac clutch? Thanks so much.
I would guess that your AC compresser clutch is shorted out. Try this: Look down into the area where the compresser is, and unplug the wire going to it. Replace the fuse, and try the switch. If the fuse does not blow, you need an AC clutch assembly. Let me know what you find out.
Hope this helps.
