Faulty fuel pump, pump relay, wiring, connections. Could be a temperature sensitive crankshaft sensor going open circuit when hot and functioning again after a short time.
Do not start the car. Tow it to a service centre and have it checked out as this sounds like amajor engine fault that may escalate if driven. If the car has an automatic transmission the drive wheels will need to be lifted or the car put on a truck to stop damage to the transmission when towing.

Try to cycle the key on/off 2-3 times at 5 second intervals. Then try to start it. If it cranks up, you have a fuel pump or regulator issue. Hope this helps, TJ
The crank sensor wires may be oil soaked, try moving them a little and see if it will start. It's beside the crank pulley on the passenger side. Got my lincoln started that way.
