Indicator bulbs for what? If you are talking about indicator bulbs in your instrument cluster, you must remove the instrument cluster to replace them. Then, it depends on what kind of car you are talking about. Some of the newer instrument clusters use non-replaceable, LED lamps. When these fail, the entire instrument cluster must be replaced or shipped out for repair.

Clean all bulb contacts with electrical connector spray and scour with wire wool ,should do the trick.
Failing that take out the light cluster and check the contact pathways for a break in them , clean all circuits and inside the bulb holder .

Right indicator flashes quick changed back bulb same problem
If bulb is OK;

1. Bulb has a lower wattage than the original. This decreases the load on the blinker module and makes it blink faster.
2. Blinker circuit is burned out or the connection is dirty; look in the fittings for corrosion.
3. Bad earthing can cause this problem.

How do I change a bulb in the indicator located on the wing of an Audi a4
Use a plastic spreader & slide under the side of indicator,you will feel a bit of plastic just slide spreader further until it realises the indicator, remove indicator twist out bulb holder ,change bulb, then just slide indicator back into place.

I have a 2009 Kia Spectra. The drivers side rear turn signal and flasher will not work and cannot find help from local mechanics
if no power to rear indicator on one side and all the rest work ok then if bulb is ok then wireing feed to that bulb cant think of any other souce take a long piece of wire from front indicator adt touch on conector at the rear bulb if works then is wireing if not its a bad earth

Changing the front turn indicator bulb
open the indicator and give a turn to the fused bulb anticlockwise it will come out . replace it ang give it clockwise turn.. and fix the indicator again.

How do i remove indicator bulb on wing mirror Sprinter 2008
It's been a while, you go through the glass.. the big glass.. grab it lightly
slide it up adn then over left.. the bottom glass.. slide it left and the up and right at the same time.. its a little touchy so be patient.. now i cant remember but i think you have to removed the motor.. then you can access the bulb behind it.. best of luck!!

MIRROR INDICATOR BULB
You cannot change the bulb - the indicator is a sealed unit - mine failed because water got into a crack.  VW will sell you the unit - you need to dismantle the wing mirror to fit it - took me about 20 mins.  Cost of the unit was about £17
