I wd ask a reliable mechanic, not the dealer, your question. (I just upgraded my '95 Odyssey to a '96. The instrument cluster was not working, so it got removed, wholesale. Takes a minute or two, and then shipped to the East Coast for a complete re-wiring. Very reliable company!) If Anything on dash is working, this is not your problem. It could be a wiring problem. It turns out everything eats wiring because they lubricate cables with Peanut oil (WTF?), and mice, rats, and squirrels can smell it! No matter the age, once rodents find your wires, they just chomp away, and in a single night, can stop lots of things, no matter the age or location of your vehicle. (Hubby keeps a box of rat bait on the firewall of my '55 Packard.) You need to find, by asking friends, the name of an honest mechanic, who will not charge to ask questions. Good luck.

Hi kelly4578,
Your Air/Fuel Ratio sensor is failing. It is also called the Bank One sensor. The sensor itself is about $200 from a parts distributor and somewhat more than that at a Lexus parts department. Labor to remove the old sensor and replace it with the new one will also run you several hundred dollars.
If you're mechanically inclined, you can tackle this repair yourself. But you must first determine the exact location of the failed sensor. And be careful not to strip the threads in the manifold when you remove the old sensor.
Let me know if this helps and please rate this solution. lone99star

SOURCE: My car shakes after applying brakes at high speeds
Well even though you had the rotors turned, they still could be warped and causing the car to shake at a high rate of speed when the brakes are applied. My suggestion is to replace the rotors asap.

hello freddy - the good news is that your lexus has a self diagnosis system built into it. this is what you need to do.
drive to an auto zone or similar autoparts store and have them put your lexus on their computer to scan for trouble codes. they offer this as a free service. with a little luck this scan will isolate the problem and the fix will be quick and easy.
if this doesnt fix it for you get back and let me know what codes popped up.
here is a link to the lexus trouble codes so you will have added insight. good luck.

SOURCE: how do i get my lexus is300 cds out?
the only way to get them out is to remove the unit from the car and disassemble it. if you replace the unit it will go to an exchange company and if you request it they will send your cd's back.
