You can remove the fuse for the interior lights after you turn van off for a temporary fix.Thinkin there should be some kind of sensor/timer thats gone out,not allowing the lights to shut off after van is shut down and doors closed
Fuse #19 in the left kick panel fuse block. But this fuse powers a lot of other components including the instrument cluster. I recommend removing the light bulbs instead.
It sounds like you have a bad door jamb switch or a shorted wire on the interior light circuit. It would be best to remove the CTSY (courtesy) fuse, in the interior fuse panel (either under the steering column or inside the glove box).
On the 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee if you look in the glove box, on the front of it there are 3 screws remove them and there are relays and fuse under it. the front one on the right hand side is the interior lights.
