The first step would be to check the battery, check the cables and connections, make sure they are clean and tight with no corrosion, then check the battery itself, if the headlights are sort of dim it's a good indication that a new battery is needed or try to jump start with another car, if it starts then replace the battery. I f the battery is is known to be good and there is a single click noise everytime the key is turned then the starter is the most like cause of the problem. In case the engine turns over normally but does not fire up let me know in a follow up.

Do you let the engine RPM drop before selecting reverse? This is really normal and nothing to worry yourself over.

Sounds like you may have a fuel leak, somewhere!
It could be out onto the (surroundings), or into the motor.
If the exhaust smells like fuel, I would almost bet it's leaking into the engine, and would have to guess that one or more of your fuel injectors are "seeping".

The dials have dissapeared

Sounds like a blown fuse as the lighter fuse to the parking light fuse to radio fuses can all show this problem. Cheack all the fuses as the altenator won't be charging with some cars that do this. The best way to cheak fuses are to use a test light as a fuse can look look and be electrically bad

My malfunction indicator lamp is staying on and do not know what the problem is. It is a 2001 Toyota Yaris 900cc engine

It could be anything, you really need to get it to a garage and have them plug it into a computer to read the codes. Just so you know, if you fuel the car while it's running, this causes a "evap leak" code and will cause that light to go on.
