Question about 2003 Toyota ECHO
I think it is a fuse but can't find on e that is label for radio or lighter?
Check the passenger side fuse panel inside the car there is a little cover that come off to get at the fuses. there is a fuse box outside on the fender passenger side and I think there might be one under the dash where the radio is.

There are 2 fuses that powers the radio, cigar lighter, etc.
They are: the 10 amp "GAUGE" and the 15 amp "CIG".
Look under the dash, on the driver side. The "CIG" fuse is the one that you need to replace.
It is in the middle of the fusebox, bottom row. again, a 15 amp fuse.
Please advise if you need additional information.
Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa.

The fuse for the cigarette lighter is the 15 amp CIG fuse. According to my wiring book, the fuse box is either behind the console, passenger side for US cars, or under the dash, driver side.

Cigarette/radio is a 15amp fuse located in the panel, middle row, bottom fuse. Basically you have 3 colums and 4 rows of fuses in there.

They probably share the same fuse. Sounds like cig lighter coil is shorted and "fiddling around" blew the fuse. Replace the fuse and try a different lighter coil.
